4.培养用英语思考的习惯, 写英语日记，提高写作能力。（不定式做目的状语）
Mr. Smith gave a talk to students about how to learn English and improve their learning efficiency at 4 p.m. on May 23rd, Friday, 2013 in the school lecture hall. He said it’s essential for us to have a good attitude to learning and effective learning methods. Besides, he suggested that we use English as often as possible, practising speaking English bravely and confidently every day. In addition, we should form the habit of reading, which can enlarge our vocabulary. He also advised us to develop the habit of thinking in English and keeping a diary in English to improve our writing skills.
